US President Donald Trump intends to sign bill on state budget today, February 15, which will allow the government to continue its normal financing.

At the same time, Trump will introduce the state of emergency in order to receive additional funds for the construction of US-Mexico border wall.

This was reported by the press secretary of the White House, Sarah Sanders, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“The president will sign a budget on government funding, and also, as he stated earlier, will take other measures in the field of executive power, including announcing a state of emergency in the country to end the national security crisis and the humanitarian crisis at the border,” said Sanders.

The signing of compromise amendments to the budget will prevent another shutdown of the US government.

The publication writes that the introduction of the state of emergency will allow Trump, by reallocating funds in the budget, to increase funding for US-Mexico border wall construction.

The day before, on February 14, only USD 1,375 billion was allocated for these purposes in the adopted budget amendments instead of USD 5.7 billion requested.

It should be noted that the Democrats were resolutely against imposing of state of emergency.

Thus, the leader of the democratic minority in the Senate, Chuck Schumer, said that "the introduction of the national emergency is lawlessness."

Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress Nancy Pelosi threatened to sue Trump’s decision.

As The Journalist reported, US House of Representatives adopts new budget bill.
