Slovakia imposes curfew until Nov 1

Prime Minister of Slovakia Igor Matovic said that the country will impose curfew amid the coronavirus pandemic from October 24 to November 1. This was reported by the Mynovohrad.

Nearly all shops, businesses and schools will be closed during this time.

The work of grocery stores and stores of household goods, utilities will be allowed.

During the curfew, citizens are prohibited from leaving their homes. An exception is the need to be at work, to take a coronavirus test, go to a store or pharmacy. It is also allowed to visit relatives.

It is allowed to leave for the countryside and return to the city after the end of the curfew.

From October 26 to November 15, free travel for privileged categories of the population will be canceled in public transport.

The Ministry of Health of Slovakia reported that 35,330 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the country since the beginning of the epidemic.
