Near the village of Delovoye (Rakhiv area, Transcarpathian region) torrential rains caused a landslide, which blocked Mukachevo – Rohatyn national route. This was reported by the press service of the chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Hennadiy Moskal.
The heavy rain and hail caused a landslide which destabilized the traffic on the public highway in the Transcarpathian region.
«The mass of wet land with the remains of old and fallen trees descended down steep slope and blocked the national route "Mukachevo – Rohatyn", which is the second main transport artery in Transcarpathian region, after the international route "Kiev – Chop". Traffic congestion have been observed on both sides of the landslide», – the message reports.
Emergency workers, with the help of special equipment, were engaged in the liquidation of the consequences of the descended landslide.
As «The Journalist» earlier reported, a landslide demolished several houses in a village in Transcarpathian region.
