Poll: On the eve of elections, Ukrainians concerned with peace and socio-economic problems

According to the results of a sociological poll conducted by the Socis Center in February, on the eve of the presidential elections in Ukraine, voters are most concerned with the problems related to war, socio-economic issues and tariffs.
At least 62% of respondents said the question of war conflict in the eastern Ukraine requires the most urgent solution.
Some 56.8% respondents are concerned about the problems of low wages or pensions, another 53.3% concerned with issues related to high tariffs for housing and communal services. About 32.9% of respondents indicated issue of rising prices as another top problem.
According to the results of sociological research, 20% of the respondents concerned about level of corruption in the country; unemployment is a problem for 19.3% of the respondents.
The Center for Social and Marketing Research "Socis" conducted a survey in the period from February 8-18, 2019. Some 2,000 respondents from all regions of Ukraine (except territories occupied by the Russian Federation) were surveyed. The statistical error is 2.1%.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine’s population decreased by about 233 thousand people.
