Elon Musk’s SpaceX company has scheduled the launch of 60 Starlink Internet satellites on October 1 and 2, as well as a third-generation of military GPS satellite.

This was reported on the SpaceX website.

The company’s website reported that the launch of the next batch of Starlink Internet satellites is scheduled for October 1 at 9:17 a.m. (4:17 p.m. Kyiv time).

On October 2, at 9.43 p.m. (4.43 p.m. Kyiv time), the Falcon 9 rocket is to launch the US military satellite GPS III into orbit.

The Falcon 9, which will carry the 13th batch of Starlink satellites into orbit, has previously been used twice in 2020.

In addition, SpaceX noted that one of the Falcon 9’s fairing halves supported two previous Starlink launches.

The company explained that 9 minutes after the launch of the rocket from the LC-39A complex of the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, part of the Falcon 9 is to land on an unmanned platform in the Atlantic Ocean.
