Special flight brings 266 Ukrainians from US to homeland

This is the seventh special flight from the United States to Ukraine during the quarantine period.

A special flight from New York to Kyiv brought 266 Ukrainians from the US to their homeland. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States on Thursday, May 21.

“On May 20, another 266 passengers returned from the US to Ukraine on a special commercial UIA flight. The New York – Kyiv flight was already the seventh special flight, which evacuated people from the United States to Ukraine during the quarantine period,” the report reads.

All passengers installed the Diy Vdoma (Act at Home) mobile app on their cellphones and obliged themselves to stay on self-isolation for 14 consecutive days.

The State Border Service reports that yesterday two flights arrived from Azerbaijan and Israel with 320 Ukrainians onboard.

In total, 18,400 passenger crossed Ukrainian border over the past day.
