The Central Election Commission of Ukraine (CEC) allowed the election commissions of special precincts, formed on Ukrainian ships, to produce ballots independently.

Having considered the relevant representation of the district election commission (territorial election commissions No. 143), the CEC decided to allow the election commissions of the special election districts No. 000004, No. 000005, No. 000007, No. 000009-000012, No. 000014-000018, No. 000020, No. 000021, No. 000023, №000024, №000027, №000028, №000030, №000033, №000034, formed on a temporary basis on ships that will be sailing under the national flag of Ukraine on election day, to produce, as an exception, ballot papers for voting on March 31.

As the deputy head of the CEC, Oleh Konopolskiy, noted, ballots should be made in an amount 0.5% higher than the number of voters included in the voter lists at the polling stations indicated.

As The Journalist reported, the CEC transferred more than 420,000 ballots to foreign polling stations.
