The Thai authorities lifted the state of emergency imposed on October 15 amid mass protests, Reuters reports.
The emergency measures ended on October 22 at 12 pm local time.
“The current violent situation that led to the state of emergency declaration has clearly improved and no longer gives reason for officials and state bodies to implement the measures provided for by the state of emergency,” statement published in the official Royal Gazette said.
