The State Statistics Service released data on average consumer prices for goods and services in Ukraine in January 2020.
In January, prices for buckwheat increased by 2.1% to UAH 28.4 per kg, apples prices rose by 1.7% to UAH 16.6 per kg, lard prices increased by 1.5% to UAH 77.0 per kg.
At the same time, carrot prices decreased by 3.9% to UAH 6.2 per kg, for cabbage – by 3.6% to UAH 5.8 per kg, and for potatoes by 2.9% to UAH 13.1 per kg
In addition, eggs prices fell by 1.9% to UAH 20.7 per dozen.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine harvest record crop of grain, but bread price rose to almost UAH 20 /kg.
