Health Minister of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov during the briefing held on May 28, said that all health workers in Ukraine infected with coronavirus will receive full coverage of treatment costs.
Stepanov said that the Ministry of Health amended corresponding regulations and included coronavirus to the list of occupational health hazards for health workers.
“All medical workers infected with COVID-19, the disease which is now included to the list of occupational health hazards, will receive 100% coverage of treatment losses. Additional payments are provided to doctors in case of his disability or death,” Stepanov said.
