Acting Minister of Health of Ukraine Ulana Suprun stated that National Medical University named after Bohomolets and Odessa National Medical University are guilty of «blocking positive changes». About this executive minister wrote on Facebook.
«A lot of positive changes in Ukraine are blocked by «people of system», which exists for decades, and desire for transformation necessarily leads to conflicts with them», – wrote Suprun.
Suprun notes that «the former rector of National Medical University named after Bohomolets Kateryna Amosova and ex-rector of Odessa National Medical University Valeriy Zaporozhan were dismissed for violation and non-fulfillment of the conditions of their contracts».
Suprun notes that the former leadership of these educational institutions «actively sabotages their activities and by all possible means disrupts educational process».
Suprun also stated that «according to teachers of Bohomolets University, administration has begun an illegal forced dismissal of those who refused to actively support former rector».
«In Odessa, former rector (who led the institution since 1994) with titles captured building of administration. Former administration is trying all means to stay in power, as if educational institutions, teachers and students are some sort of feudal hereditary possession», said minister.
