Sweden will allocate to Ukraine € 4 million as part of a new European integration strategy

“Sweden remains very supportive of Ukraine. Cooperation between countries is based on the idea of ​​European integration. We have one regional strategy that covers the countries of the Eastern Partnership, the countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey. This is a 7-year strategy for all European neighbors – all EU neighbors in Europe. This strategy will end next year, and we have already started talking about the next strategy. There will be a new long-term strategy for European integration. This year we have already increased funding for this strategy by about 25 million euros. Four million will go to Ukraine. Special attention will be paid to management, civil society, the environment,” the diplomat said.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the Japanese government allocated $ 2.8 million to support the population of Ukraine affected by the conflict in the east of the country.
