Testing exploitation of Kalanchak checkpoint will start on Nov 10

Chairman of Kherson Regional State Administration Yuriy Husev has said the construction of the Kalanchak entry/exit checkpoint between Kherson Oblast and Crimea is takes place quite dynamically, and a daily plan of the completion of the construction and opening of the customs checkpoint were discussed. He wrote about this on Facebook.

“Starting from November 10, the testing exploitation of Kalanchak checkpoint will begin. During the working visit scheduled for November 15, the President of Ukraine will be able to visit and see how his orders on the development of the checkpoint are fulfilled,” Husev said.

Oksana Kolyada, Minister for Veterans, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine, also visited Kalanchak checkpoint.

The officials and representatives of the customs and border services discussed functioning of the service area and other problematic issues.

The minister promised to raise all problematic issues at the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
