Rating of the most expensive cities in the world for 30 years in a row determines The Economist magazine. Such results is for the first time in three decades of the rating existence – three cities share the first line.

The list of the most expensive also includes such cities as: Zurich, Geneva, Osaka, Seoul, Copenhagen, New York, Tel Aviv. The ten cheapest cities are Caracas (Venezuela), Damascus (Syria), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Bangalore (India), Karachi (Pakistan), Lagos (Nigeria), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Chennai (India), New Delhi (India).

In total, the rating considers 133 cities in terms of prices for basic services and products.
