Tokaiev won the presidential election in Kazakhstan

The new president of Kazakhstan is Kassym-Jomart Tokaiev, who scored nearly 71% of the vote. This was announced by the deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan, Konstantin Petrov, as nur.kz reports.

The CEC representative noted that it was the first president of the country Nursultan Nazarbaiev, who proposed Tokaiev as a candidate for the Presidential elections. Above 6 mln citizens of Kazakhstan voted for Tokaiev.
