Russian biathletes Ekaterina Bekh, Anastasia Rasskazova and Oksana Moskalenko will represent Ukraine at international competitions. This was told by the president of the Biathlon Federation of Ukraine Vladimir Brynzak, reports Biathlon.com.ua.
According to the president, the girls accustom now. Earlier they were invited to their home in the Republic of Belarus, when they left the Russian Federation. Athletes were at the training camp.
«But something did not work out, and they called me. Parents of the girls are Ukrainians, documents on obtaining citizenship are now in the process of registration», – said Brynzak.
Sports official noted that biathletes of this level will not prevent Ukraine.
Note that the 20-year-old Rasskazova represented Russia at the junior cup stage of the IBU, and in 2016 and 2017 participated in the world championships among juniors. 19-year-old Bekh and 18-year-old Moskalenko have not yet shown themselves in international competitions.
