White House head Donald Trump insulted Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi after her criticism of president’s statement that he taking hydroxychloroquine as a prophylaxis against coronavirus, CBC News reports.
“Nancy Pelosi is a sick woman who has a lot of mental problems,” Trump said.
The president’s reaction was triggered by Pelosi’s words regarding Trump’s defense against coronavirus. She called it “not a good idea given his age and because he is morbidly obese.”
“He’s our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group,” Pelosi said.
Also, TV host Neil Cavuto called this method of protection against coronavirus dangerous for people with various diseases.
