Two missions of the World Health Organization (WHO) will visit Ukraine. This was announced at a briefing by the acting Director General of the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Ihor Kuzin, Ukrinform reports.

“We are expecting two main missions of the World Health Organization. One will be aimed at working out the state preparedness plan, and this mission will begin tomorrow and will last until Saturday inclusive [March 7]. Also, we expect the mission for laboratory diagnostics next week to increase diagnostic methods as much as possible at the level of each region,” Kuzin said.

A special training for infectious disease doctors is currently underway, which is being held jointly with UNICEF.
