The British Fraud Investigation Office (SFO) has not launched any investigations against President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
The British Embassy in Ukraine reported this in its microblog on Twitter.
“Taking into account the recent speculations, the British Fraud Investigation Office (SFO) confirms that we have not launched the investigations against President Poroshenko,” the report said.
On Saturday, the presidential candidate and the leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, said that the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) and the British Fraud Investigation Office has launched investigations against Petro Poroshenko related to his corruption schemes.
As The Journalist reported, EU denied Tymoshenko’s statements on corruption cases allegedly opened against Poroshenko.
