UK Parliament rejected four alternative Brexit proposals

The Parliament of Great Britain considered four alternative agreements regarding Brexit, but did not support any of them, CNN reports.

Each of the proposed options scored even less votes than the PM Theresa May’s agreement with the EU, which the parliamentarians also did not support on Friday.

Recall that on the night of March 22, the European Union agreed to postpone Brexit from March 29 to May 22, but only after the British House of Commons vote for the relevant agreement. If the vote fails – the UK will be forced to withdraw from the EU on April 12.
