Ukrainian U-20 team defeated Iceland in the first match of the mini-tournament for 9-16 places at the Eurobasket-2018, reports xsport.ua.
The first quarter was held in a mutual struggle and ended in a draw.
However, already in the second and third halves Ukrainians added to the activity and went ahead +15, turning the final quarter into a formality.
The victory allowed Ukraine to keep its place in Division A for the next season.
