Ukraine repaying USD160 mln debt to IMF

Ukraine transferred to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) $160.3 million repaying its main debt. This is reported by FinClub.

It is noted that a payment of 114.3 million SDRs [Special Drawing Right] or about USD 160 million was made on August 31 under the stand-by arrangement of April 2014. During the August Ukraine transferred in total USD 5.6 million to the IMF.
The following payments are scheduled for November 1 and 5.
Recall that the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expects to receive about USD 2 billion from the IMF, in line with the EFF [Extended Fund Facility] program, until the end of autumn.
