Ukraine have changed the residence registration rules. The Cabinet of Ministers considered a draft resolution “On Amending the Rules for the Registration of a Place of Residence”.
This was reported by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko in the Telegram.
Documents confirming the right to reside in the home will not require registration of the place of residence of a child, minor at the address of registration of the place of residence of the parents/one of the parents or legal representative.
In the absence of these documents and/or residence in mortgage, trust as a way to ensure fulfillment of obligations, the registration of the place of residence is carried out with the consent of the owner / co-owner of the housing, the tenant or his family members, with the consent of the mortgage holder or the trustee.
An employee of the registration authority can check whether the housing is in a mortgage or in trust in the State Registry of Real-Estate Property Rights.
The application for registration of residence can now indicate that housing is in a mortgage / trust as a way to ensure fulfillment of obligations.
