Ukraine confirms 525 new COVID-19 cases over past day

Number of new COVID-19 cases in Ukraine continues to grow. Over the past day another 525 people were infected and 357 recovered, the Center for Public Health reports.

The number of people infected since the start of the pandemic totals 28,381. Over the past day another 23 people died from the virus.

Most new cases of the disease were registered in Volyn (101), Lviv (78), Kyiv (58) and Zhytomyr (38) regions. No new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kherson and Luhansk regions.

At the same time, as of the morning of June 10, 7,323,918 cases of coronavirus infection were registered globally. The Covid-19 death toll reached 417,733 people, according to Worldometers.

Ukraine partially lifted quarantine restrictions on regular flights, domestic flights have been operating since June 5, and international planned to be launched after the 15th of June. From June 11, Ukraine introduced the next stage of quarantine weakening.
