Cases of desertion in the occupation forces have become more frequent, as the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Colonel Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, said, referring to the data of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
Thus, the command of the Russian occupation forces is taking active measures to prevent a decline in the level of the moral and psychological state of the personnel of the advanced units of the 1st (Donetsk) and 2nd (Luhansk) army corps of the RF Armed Forces.
“In particular, Russian officers are disseminating information about the possibility of increasing the monetary allowance for servicemen, called up among the local population, who will issue Russian citizenship. At the same time, the money allowance for the sergeant and ordinary staff is constantly delayed and is not paid in full size,” said Motuzyanyk.
It is also known that the delay in the payment of monetary allowances leads to an increase in protest sentiment among the personnel. In separate advanced units of the enemy, more than a third of the personnel expressed a desire to early resign from military service, as a result of which the number of cases of unauthorized abandonment of the duty posts increased.
