The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal said that government could create a separate agrarian ministry in Ukraine, as well as strengthen the industrial unit, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“We have several ideas. The first one is the opportunity to separate an agrarian department from the Ministry of Economy. It is just an idea for now, and we are working on it together with the Minister of Economy and with the Deputy Prime Ministers,” the head of government said.

To Shmygal, country’s industrial unit will also be strengthened.

“We are holding discussion on how to do this: by creating a separate post of deputy prime minister, appoint a strong deputy in the Ministry of Economy or, possibly, by creating a Ministry of Industrial Policy and State defense order. We are looking for formulas, people and the best format for its implementation,” the Prime Minister emphasized, adding that these decisions should be taken as soon as possible.
