According to the Public Health Center, as of September 22, Ukraine reported 2,884 new coronavirus cases. The number of active patients reached 97,694.
In total, there are 181,237 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine, of which 79,901 patients have been recovered, 3,642 have died. About 2,079,482 PCR tests were performed. Some 1,717 patients were discharged per day.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 5,377 cases in Vinnytsia region; 7,031 in Volyn region; 4,218 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 2,505 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 5,121 in Zhytomyr region; 9,265 in Zakarpattia region; 3,035 in Zaporizhia region; 12,675 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 1,005 in Kirovohrad region; 20,028 in the city of Kyiv; 8,020 in Kyiv region; 18,793 in Lviv region; 767 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 2,572 in Mykolaiv region; 11,843 in Odesa region; 1,575 in Poltava region; 11,353 in Rivne region; 3,184 in Sumy region; 11,732 in Ternopil region; 15,505 in Kharkiv region; 837 in Kherson region; 4,937 in Khmelnytsky region; 13,305 in Chernivtsi region; 3,145 in Cherkasy region; 3,411 in Chernihiv region.
Data from Russia-occupied areas – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions – is not available.
