According to the Public Health Center, as of October 22, Ukraine reported 7,053 new cases of the coronavirus. The number of active patients reached 181,938.
A total 322,879 laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus recorded in the country, of which 134,898 people have recovered, 6,043 have died. At least 2,914,006 PCR tests were performed.
During the day the situation on the territory of Ukraine is, as follows:
924 people were hospitalized, including 25 children, 44 health workers;
14,183 people with confirmed coronavirus diagnosis are on inpatient treatment;
486 people connected lung ventilators;
2,679 people recovered, including 132 children, 185 health workers;
116 deaths were reported.
33 901 PCR tests, 28,517 ELISA tests were carried out.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 8,782 cases in Vinnytsia region; 11,574 in Volyn region; 12,068 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 7,896 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 10,838 in Zhytomyr region; 12,285 in Zakarpattia region; 7,093 in Zaporizhzhia region; 17,447 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 1,786 in Kirovohrad region; 32,500 in the city of Kyiv; 13,688 in Kyiv region; 26,021 in Lviv region; 2,841 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 6,428 in Mykolaiv region; 20,558 in Odesa region; 7,216 in Poltava region; 16,691 in Rivne region; 9,730 in Sumy region; 18,283 in Ternopil region; 30,899 in Kharkiv region; 2,844 in Kherson region; 11,942 in Khmelnytsky region; 18,562 in Chernivtsi region; 7,541 in Cherkasy region; 7,367 in Chernihiv region.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
