Ukraine reports increase in number of patients with pneumonia in Ivano-Frankivsk

The number of people with pneumonia in Ivano-Frankivsk has significantly increased over the past day, the city council said.

“According to operational information provided by the head of the public health department of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, Maria Boyko, on May 25, 14 patients with pneumonia were hospitalized to the Central City Clinic, two of whom were immediately placed to intensive care unit,” the report reads.

As of May 25, 141 patients were hospitalized to the city’s health facilities with pneumonia, 8 patients with serious health condition, two were connected to ventilators.

“Such an indicator indicates the need to continue to adhere to the quarantine regime and do not use public transport without much need despite it was launched again,” the city council emphasized.
