On March 9, the militants violated the ceasefire regime 10 times in Donbas. This was reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters on Facebook.
The militants resorted to 120mm and 82mm mortars, prohibited by the Minsk agreements, as well as to grenade launchers of various systems, UAVs, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions four times: near Shyrokyne and Hnutove the militants dropped VOG-17 grenades from an unmanned aerial vehicle; near Avdiivka from hand held anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group, Russian occupation forces attacked 6 times: near Horikhove from 120mm mortar (5 shells); near Zaitsevo from 82mm mortar (4 shells); near Vodiane from a 82mm mortar (4 shells), and from an easel anti-tank grenade launcher (4 shots); near Novoluhanske, Luhanske and Travneve from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In addition, the militants open fire on an ambulance vehicle with Red Cross marking. They dropped two VOG-17 grenades onto the vehicle from UAVs.
As a result of the shelling on March 9, one Ukrainian soldier sustained combat wounds.
