The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has renamed four ministries and created two new ones.
According to the Cabinet Resolution #829, the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities was renamed to the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade was renamed to the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources was renamed to the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Veterans war renamed to the Ministry of Veterans, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine.
The Cabinet also created two new ministries: the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine through the reorganization of the State Agency for Electronic Governance; The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine on the basis of the Ministry of Information Policy. The newly created governmental body was entrusted with the tasks and functions of the liquidated Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine’s Cabinet liquidated National Police’s department of economic protection.
