The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be sent to the Krtsanisi military base in Georgia to undergo training. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak.

He took part in two meetings of the NATO Military Committee in Brussels.

During his working trip to Brussels, he held talks with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, the Commander of the Georgian Defense Forces, the Chief of the General Staff of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova – the Commander of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova.

The Colonel General informed his colleagues about the security situation in the east of Ukraine and around the borders, the likely scenario for its development in the short term.

In addition, were reached agreements on the training of Ukrainian soldiers on courses at the NATO-Georgia Joint Training Center at the Krtsanisi military base.

Also, the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will undergo training at the Mountain Training School of the Georgian Defense Forces.

The Georgian military also suggested continuing the practice of rehabilitating Ukrainian soldiers in Georgia.
