The head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofiy Mylovanov has said that it is planned to create a National Wealth Fund in 2020.
According to the minister, all state-owned enterprises that will not be privatized “will be transferred to the National Wealth Fund.”
“The Fund will be properly corporatized and will be of independent structure. Ministries will write some policies, that is, what they wanted state-owned enterprises to do, but would not intervene in Fund’s management. Thus, we will remove corruption component from those state-owned enterprises that will not be privatized,” Mylovanov said.
