According to the press center of the representative office of the President of Ukraine in Crimea, Kalanchak and Chongar checkpoints will resume their work on August 29, after the order of the Cabinet of Ministers on the suspension of the work of checkpoints on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea will expire.

The checkpoints on the administrative border with the occupied Crimea were temporarily closed in accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated August 8. Crossing the administrative border was restricted to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Ukraine.
