Ukrainian innovation laboratory Revel Laboratory is converting all of its 3D printers to print valves for mechanical ventilation apparatus, using Italian technology, one of the founders of the company, David Stavnitser said.

“Hard times require innovative solutions. That is why Revel Laboratory is converting all of its 3D printers to product valves for ventilations. This solution was invented by our Italian colleagues – Isinnova company. This valves allow to connect two patients to one ventilator at once,” Stavnitser said.

The Revel Laboratory has already contacted an Italian company and will soon receive technical specifications and 3D models of valves.

Stavnitser also asks hospitals that are experiencing supply disruptions or require additional supplies to contact Revel Laboratory.

Ukrainian company is asking manufacturers of 3D printed plastic about the supply of Nylon P12 approved for use in medicine (1.75 or 2.85 mm).
