The European multisport team athletic championship held in Lutsk came to an end with the victory of Ukrainian Daria Sloboda in heptathlon among women, as xsport.ua informs.
The athlete from Kyiv oblast was among the leaders in all seven disciplines, having set a number of personal records and the best results of the season.
In total, it brought her 6165 points, which are 136 more than her nearest rival Katie Stainton from the UK.
The bronze medal in heptathlon was gained by Dutch MarikaEsselink, who scored 5905 points in total.
