Ukrainian banks in July-September 2020 closed 251 structural divisions, reducing the regional network to 7,329 branches by October 1. This was reported on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Most of all branches in the Q3 were closed by the state-owned Oschadbank: its number of branches reduced by 166 and totals 1,931. During the same period, Privatbank closed 83 branches, reducing their total number to 1,750.
At the same time, according to the results of July-September of this year, the state-owned Ukrgasbank opened 21 divisions, expanding its regional network to 269 branches; A-Bank opened 5 new branches and has 235; Megabank expanded network up to 153 and Ibox Bank – up to 42 branches.
