Iryna Herashchenko has won the gold medal at international competitions in Rellingen, Germany, and topped the world high score of the season in high jumps.
This is reported by the website of the Athletics Federation of Ukraine.
Herashchenko, from the first attempt, overcame the height of 1.99 meters, thereby improving his personal record and in parallel fulfilling the Olympic standard in Tokyo 2020.
Following that, Iryna tried her hand at 2.01 m, but so far the athlete failed to overcome such a height.
In the high jump sector Yuliia Chumachenko from Ukraine also performed. Yuliia became the third with the result of 1.92 m.
