The junior national team of Ukraine in gymnastics won two medals at the World Championship held in Hungarian Gyore, according to xsport.ua.
Chepurny Nazar, Kostiuk Volodymyr and Kovtun Ilia became the silver medalists having gained a total of 159,828 points, slightly losing to the winner, the Japanese team.
In the personal qualification Ilia Kovtun became the bronze medalist, having gained 80.264 points. An athlete from Japan, Takero Kitazono, had the same result, but since the Japanese gymnasts took the first two places, according to the regulations, the bronze medal was awarded to the Ukrainian.
