Ukrainian military shoot down enemy drone worth USD 2 mln

The Joint Forces Operation headquarters reported that Ukrainian troops shot down a Russian-made unmanned aerial vehicle worth about USD 2 million.

“On April 5, one of the units that holds the defense near Svitlodar settlement, due to the skillful actions shot down the Bird-Eye 400 Zastava unmanned aerial vehicle. This UAV has been manufactured in the Russian Federation since 2012. Its cost about USD 2 million,” the headquarters said.

It is known that the drone was handed over to the appropriate specialists to study storage data.

“This fact once again confirms the participation of the Russian Federation Armed Forces in the war in eastern Ukraine,” the Ukrainian military summed up.
