Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said the military will receive UAH 1,000-2,000 in bonuses on Independence Day.
Poltorak signed an order on the payment of a cash bonus to servicemen of the Armed Forces on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine.
“Military personnel, including military service and cadets will receive UAH 1,000 each. Servicemen who were involved in tasks performance as part of Joint Forces units in 2019, and those who are now protecting the territorial integrity of the state in Eastern Ukraine will get a bonus of UAH 2,000 each,” the minister said.
