As a result of Russia’s invasion in Crimea and Donbas, more than 13,000 people died. Almost 30,000 more people were injured. This was stated by the Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Yuriy Vitrenko, the press service of the mission reports.

Vitrenko reacted to the statement of the Russian delegation that it “fully complies” with the terms of the Budapest Memorandum. He noted that due to the Russian invasion in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine, more than 13,000 people were killed and almost 30,000 were injured.

“At least half a million people in Ukraine have become internally displaced,” said the Ukrainian representative to the UN.
