Ukrainian Paralympians cannot return home

National Paralympic wheelchair fencing team has been unable to return home for the second day from World Cup stage, held from March 20 to March 25, 2019 in Pisa, Italy, in which athletes from 31 countries of the world took part because of  strikes and traffic collapse in Italy.

National Paralympic wheelchair fencing team won a series of victories: two bronze and one silver medals.

Demchuk Andrii – silver award in the men’s saber category A;

Breus Evheniya – two bronze medals – in the women’s sword category A and in the women’s saber category A.

World Cup in the women’s saber category A awarded the best athlete in this category, Nataliia Morkvych.
