Vitalii Patsura won the silver medal of the European Billiard Championship in the discipline “Pool-8” in the age category U23. It is reported by the press service of the Sports Committee of Ukraine.
Last year, Vitalii became the champion of the continental championship with the “nine”, so this time he was not without reason considered the favorite.
In Italian Treviso, our athlete was able to confirm his status. Kiev resident scored three victories in a row over the Italian Fausto Colombini, Aikino Burcu from Northern Cyprus and Turkish Ibrahim Vatansever. In the semifinals, the Ukrainian defeated the vice-champion of Europe in the “top ten” Finn Kasper Matikainen.
Unfortunately, becoming a European champion Patsure has not yet succeeded. Lithuanian representative Pijus Labutis won the gold medal, who won Vitalii with a score of 8: 4.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the Nigerian defender signed a contract with Dynamo Kyiv.
