Ukrainian police were allowed to conduct investigation on “Sheremet case” in Europe

The investigation team of the National Police of Ukraine received permission to conduct investigative actions in one of the European countries in the case of the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet. The KGB of Belarus information manager regurding discussion of Sheremet’s murder was invited to conduct investigative actions. This was reported by the press service of the National Police.

“At present, the investigation of the National Police of Ukraine has received permission to conduct investigative actions in one of the European countries, in addition, the person in charge of the transmitted information was invited to carry out the necessary investigative actions,” reads the message.

At the same time, the department noted that they have information at their disposal about the possible customers of the murder of the journalist.

Journalist Sheremet was killed on July 20, 2016 in Kyiv as a result of a car explosion. Andrei Antonenko, Yana Dugar and Yulia Kuzmenko are suspected of involvement in his murder.
