Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Volodymyr Borodyanskiy has said that Ukraine will be able to launch broadcasting of television channels in the occupied territories within three months. He said this at the panel show on 1+1 channel.

“The signal will be broadcasted within three months,” Borodyanskiy said.

According to the minister, the Ukrainian signal has already been tested.

He also noted that the television channel will broadcast in two languages – Russian and Ukrainian.

“It is not only about the signal, it is also about what exactly we will communicate. It will be a state channel based on our UATV broadcast. At the first stage, it will be an infotainment channel that will combine Ukrainian entertainment programs and state broadcasting,” the minister said.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine plans to launch Russian-language TV channel.
