Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestler Semen Novykov became U-23 world champion, which takes place in Bucharest, informs xsport.ua.

Semen Novykov won in the category up to 87 kg.
In the semifinals, Ukrainian defeated representative of Azerbaijan, the current European champion, Islam Abasov (8:5).
In the decisive battle, Novykov turned out to be stronger than Cuban Daniel Gregorych 10: 2.
