Ukrainian judo team won six medals at the European Cup

On 23-24 of June the European Judo Cup took place in Podčetrtek (Slovenia).
At the tournament 14 sets of awards were played. The Ukrainians won six medals – one gold, one silver and four bronze medals, and also took four fifths and three sevenths places, informs sportonline.ua.

Ukraine took fifth place in team rating.

The first place -Russia, the second – France, the third – Germany, the fourth – Japan.
Darya Beloded won gold medal (category up to 48 kg).
The owner of the silver medal is Daniil Hutsol (category up to 100 kg), for whom it is the third European medal in this season. Zaporozhia sportsman in February in Sofia at the European open and in early June in Belgrade on the Continental Cup won bronze.
At competitions in Slovenia, Hutsol suffered only one defeat, losing to the Russian citizen Arman Adamyan.
Bronze winners are Maria Buek (category up to 52 kg), Anastasia Sapsay (category over 78 kg), Vasilina Kirichenko (category over 78 kg) and Aleksander Mindila (category up to 100 kg).

Earlier, the «Journalist» reported that Ukrainian judoists are winners of the European Championship among veterans.
