A 17-year-old athlete in the high jump, Yaroslava Maguchykh will not compete in the European Indoor European Championships in Glasgow. This was stated by her trainer Tatiana Stepanova, reports xsport.ua.
“This winter season, we plan to play in two tournaments – January 30 in Cottbus and February 9 in Banska Bystritsa. We do not plan to compete in the Ukrainian Championship and European Indoor Championships. ”
Note that the standard for the European Indoor Championship is 1.90 meters, while at competitions in the Czech Republic, Yaroslava Maguchykh showed a result of 1.99 meters and repeated the youth world record.
Recall that at first winter start, Yaroslava showed a result of 1.96 m.
