The international audit of the activities of the state concern Ukroboronprom will cost up to USD 5 million.
This was stated by Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Serhiy Kryvonos.
“We have profitable enterprises, and those which are a burden for taxpayers. Therefore, we are considering to reforming non-profit enterprises,” the official said.
Kryvonos also reported on the prospects for auditing Ukroboronprom.
“We met with the US ambassador. US also interested in conducting an audit. And I’m interested for the Cabinet to find money to conduct such an audit as soon as possible. The audit is important both for us and for our partners, as it will provide an opportunity to demonstrate that we are transparent and ready to cooperate,” the Telegraf publication quotes a representative of the National Security and Defense Council.
